As with many things this year, the second year of the 5 year rolling Countryside Survey field survey has been postponed due to Covid-19.
However, UKCEH surveyors have now made it out into the field again, collecting valuable soils and vegetation data to add to the Countryside Survey time-series.
The 2020 survey will continue until the end of September.
Thanks to the Royal Geographical Society and the Nuffield Foundation (via facilitation from Lancaster University), there are now some Countryside Survey related Resources for Schools available.
The resources are aimed at Key Stage 5 (A Level) and include the following:
